Pon un cubo bajo la ducha para ahorrar agua mientras esperas a que salga caliente

Put a bucket under the shower to save water while you wait for it to come out hot.

Impact data

Every time we run the shower waiting for the water to reach the right temperature, we waste between 6 and 12 litres per minute — which can add up to nearly 30,000 litres per household per year. Placing a bucket under the tap turns that waste into a resource: the collected water can be reused to water plants, mop floors, or even flush the toilet — making the most of every drop that would otherwise go straight down the drain.

How to overcome the challenge
  • Prepare — Place a bucket or basin in the shower before turning on the tap.
  •

Collect — Let it capture the cold water while you wait for the warm to arrive.

Reuse — Use that water to irrigate plants, mop floors, or flush the toilet.
